BRAND: SERGIO TACCHINI

Heritage sports brand Sergio Tacchini was founded in 1966 by Italian tennis champion Sergio Tacchini.  The eponymous label was known for introducing colour into the otherwise all-white tennis kit. In the 80s and 90s in the US, the brand became popular in the emerging culture of hip-hop, as wearing high-end sportswear became a status symbol. The brand is still going strong today, with a big reputation both in the fashion and sports world.
